It’s a different experience when we look at the world through the lens. The expanse is compressed to a 2.5 inch LCD, looking at which, we intend to frame the moment – zipping the five-sensory experience to a one dimension image, which we know we will be staring at, later in life, to replenish our happiness and relive the experience.
Capturing moments, freezing memories is what we have been doing from a very young age. Eye-catching landscapes, unconventional angles and family portraits were quick to become a part of our gallery. However, it was our pursuit of exploring our feature-packed Olympus camera that we began taking macro shots. The experience was challenging but interesting – the close-ups indeed brought the specks to life – it was their turn to dominate our galleries. We extended the snapping sessions and the macros found a permanent part of our photography experience.
Travelling is an invitation to discoveries and photography is an obligatory companion. The moment we are set to head for an excursion the first reminder we give ourselves is to take our camera – how much we regret the absence of our 10 megapixel camera standing in front a picturesque landscape or a beautiful fountain at a mall. So we’re snapping when we’re travelling and when we’re at home in Dubai, we revisit the landmarks with a refreshed and energized spirit – like travellers do, making the most of it.
